| It was great..... COLD but nice. We only brought out Kyles (my son) KX65 (Cam's old 65) and he, myself and even my daughter did some laps on it. I was really impressed with Lindsey since she's never ridden a clutched bike before. She was the red headed girl on the blue thumpstar 50cc at Monticello. She rode really well tonight and was really picking up quick with the shifting by the end of the night. Cant wait for warmer weather Thanks for the wheels also Walter.... | |

| I don't believe mini motard is going to stick with a regular schedule at moroso. The park is being built aroung the Go karts. Every night that they run the drag cars , 3 days of the week, the go kart track will be open only for the arrive and drive event . It seems like the minis served as a filler for the time that they had to wait for the people to come in. At one time they opened the track and only one go kart was running. we had to wait 30 minutes to ride only for 10. There is no dates set for minis next month and who knows if they'll have a schedule for next year. P.S. beaware that, when riding at moroso, you cannot disturb the FLOW of the other riders. they will either chase you until they can take you out or they will wait outside to say that you ride like an ass****. | |

| I hope that is not the case. We had probably 30 tards out there and even at the peak of their karting schedule they only had like 4-5 karts at most. I would hope they would realize the potential of running the tards out there and open it back up to a weekly thing. | |

| The thing with flow happened when 214 and 37 were battling and one rider went down as they were trying to pass him. He later told 214 that he rides like an ass****. I came home laughing to myself and thinking that if I see a pack of minis in front of me I should keep my distance and watch them until the end. This what I notice one day! I don't know if they discuss who's going to lead the first half of the moto. At one time the leader will look back, open wide and let the other riders pass him and that goes on until the end. That's the flow they want to have without 214 and 37 riding like maniacs. | |

| I felt like I spent all night sitting around waiting to ride. Even when they did let us out to ride, half of the time the sessions were only 10 minutes long. When we inquired at the end of the night we were told that the kids/beginners got a 10 min session followed by us with a 10 min session, then the rental carts who pay $25 for 15min session. If there were no people waiting for Karts then they gave us 15 min session which may have happened twice all night. It was a little rediculous considering that at one point there was one Kart on the track. The guy running the thing seemed like he was interested in our input but wasn't the guy making the decisions. I will give it a few weeks to see how things sort out but plan on seeing you guys more often at Opalocka. Oh yeah, a couple of guys got their pantys in a wad because they did not like how they were passed. I guess they should have been riding with the beginners. | |

| Just my 2c's..... but there was some extremely agressive riding out there. Several people I watched were all over the track. Being fast is one thing, doing so without endangering others is another. I just think some people need to calm down and learn to be smooth instead of trying to be fast..... again I am not speaking about anyone specific just making an observation of what I saw out there. I never felt like anyone was too agressive with me or my son who also rode with the advanced guys. | |

| My personal experience at Moroso was super bad ... I did not ride so I can not tell anything about the track itself, though I know I would have been pissed about the fact I get to ride 10 minutes and when to wait for 20 min and ride for 10, etc... In 10 min you (well me) can barely warm up the bike, finally you are in the right pace BUT you must go back into the pits... Uhhh.... I enjoy the feeling of soreness from riding motorcycle... I guess thats not gonna happen at Moroso... Anywayz, the thing which really got me mad last Friday: WE HAD TO WAIT 1 HOUR TO GET INSIDE!!!!!! Unbelievable... There was huge and not moving line of cars (no, not our fellow motorcycle riders, but spectators of drag races). When, another surprise: $10 Spectator + $35 if you ride, times 2 (my bf and I) = $90.. In these days thats A LOT of money... Well, maybe it would not be so painful, if you get lots of riding time... Overall experience 2 of a 10 (2 for deliciuos french fries they sell) If anyone from Moroso management is reading this -->>> its 0 fun to wait 1 hour in line. Please do smthg about it. |

| There was some agressive riding witnessed and proven. My buddy on a CRF150R was passed on the inside (stuffed more like it), he exceeded his ability and lost it right in front of my buddy. My buddy had no choice, but to lock up the brakes stand the bike up and run over his bike, which ejected him over the handle bars. Long story short, two broken bones in wrist, needs plates and screws. Operation to follow. | |

| Freeflyer, for a moment there are thought you were talking about me. The first night Moroso re-opened for mini-motard that exact thing happened to me, however slightly less injury. Guys were out of control, in full race mode and cared nothing for the riders safety around them. Coming into the long left hander at the end of the main straight, a guy an a CRF150 came from behind me and totally blew the corner coming in too hot. He stood it up and stopped the bike right in the race line trying to keep from going off track. That was the first time I almost hit him. In the very next corner he passed me again wayyyy too hot, this time he low-sided and I ran straight into his bike. The bike flipped in the air, I landed on my head and hands. Breaking my right hand. The wind got knocked out of me, he helped me to the side of the track, pushed my bike off, then hopped back on his bike and took off while I was in the fetal position in the grass. Never saw him again after that. Moroso may or may not get better. We'll see, I just got off the phone with the VP of karting over there. There will be no motard this Friday. There is a big race weekend for the karts so they are opening the track for their practice. This is understandable. I was told we get Dec 19th, Jan 9th, then it should get back to normal. She mentioned that they are trying to add another night for us, motards only. Also that she wants to have a race series. I told her to come to FLAMRA.com and check it out.

| Bill I saw your wreck and saw the 150r that had caused it. I noticed this type of riding from him all night.
Good news though about Moroso getting back to normal with the motard schedule. I've always liked that track and despite having to drive 2.5 hrs to get there its still worth it for us. | |

| I agree, I like that track a lot too. It's not super challenging, but it flows really well. It sure was cold that night, the bike was running like crap! My hand is about 90-95% now, so I'll be back out soon. I doubt Dec 19th though. Cash is scarce, was laid off a month ago. Went to an interview today though, so hopefully I can justify entertainment money again soon. P.S. How did that crash look from an outside perspective? Did it look as bad as it felt? Wish they had gotten a pic of it. This is where I got the pics from. http://www.motorsportfoximages.com/Moroso%20Mini%20Motard%20Practice | |

| Well, I cant really describe it other then to say, its one of those things that all of us know can happen but hope it never does. When a bike goes down in front of you like that sometimes there's just no where to go. Glad you're healing up ok though, you must have gotten lucky. A friend of mine broke his hand in BJJ class and had to have surgery to repair, now he's going through a hard cast, soft cast and then physical therapy. Its a 12-16 week process for him. | |
