| Honestly, I started out on the 4-strokes and that was all I had ever ridden. Since then I bought a KX65 for my son and had so much fun on it that I am building one for myself also. I think a KX100 would be a blast. | |

| I am not sure what the parts availability is for them. Can you get the parts you need for the KX100 for roadracing? I guess the wheels you could make yourself, the suspension you can just redo the stock stuff but you need to find some stiffer springs, the only thing I can think of you might have trouble with is the brakes and those you could pretty much make anything work if you had to. I think the price would come in a lot cheaper then a 150r also and I hate messing with the valves on a four stroke. The 2-strokes are much easier to maintain. | |

| kx 100 and 85 are almost identical bikes, so don't worry about motard parts, my advise: don't use the kx front hub or you won't be able to get good brakes, cr85 is a good alternative. don't you already have a crf150r? | |
