My name is Shawn Bassett owner of BassettMotorSport.com . Im not new to road racing or minis, but im new to mini racing. I have a few friends who would also like to start racing as well. Im located in Orlando Fl. Does anyone have a link to race and practice days?

Custom wheels, frame, tank, um custom everything with a YZ450 motor.... im guessing not

did you make that tubular frame yourself?
I think I saw that project before in some other forum, if that's you dude!!! you have some serious building skills.

Made almost everything you see, made the tank, frame ect. My buddy made the wheels, hubs, top clamp. Most of it is one off. Should be pretty fun!

I was just checking your website, congrats man you've done some awesome creations, I love minis, I have a 2004 NSR, and just finished a 20+ Hp 10" wheeled minimotard to rece against the CRF150R's.

Well this is near what ill be racing this year with a few changes (+ Hand guards, safety wire, custom under tail exhaust, X-monitor, and a few more nick nacks) Im kicking around using my other frame. Its a +2 CRF frame rather than my pitster + 3?-4?

awww man!!! I was all excited about you guys coming down... com'on you dont need your bike to be 100%, you guys will have a great time anyways.

I love to, still don't have hand guards, need to safety wire the bike (i know that is easy) and my road suit sucks with the sumo so i ordered a new motard suit and i think it will be here on monday. We might come out and watch and meet every one.... Who knows the grace of God i might get everything together...

I've never had hand guards on any of my bikes, I like bar sliders better, I've heard of people breaking hands when they got caught on the guards during a crash plus they add to much weight to a mini's handle bar anyways I have both in my (trackside) shop if you need them and you're welcome to do the installation there. Sliders are installed in 4 minutes and handguards... well you know.
I never tried other than roadrece suits, I need to have knee sliders.
at least bring your bikes so we can see them.

Wuz-up Shawn, it's "cdiaz3" from the YSR forum. Let me know when you will be coming down so I can make sure I make it to the track that night. Walter and Sabrina are really cool, you're going to love meeting them.

Cool, as much as im die'n to get to miami for the race the moons are not allying for me...... too much work and bike is not quite ready.
