Im converting one of my minis to tard race. This is what im working with. I think im going to go with 10" 2.15" rim. Are any of your running a 10" 2.5 rear? Any HUGE benefit? What tires are you guys running in 10". I was going to go with some sava slicks.

Mods...

Pitster X2 frame.
China swing arm (i think)
China Front end
iShock with res
Pro Taper Fat Bars
Renthal (hard) grips

Sikk 125
Katico Inner rotor kit
Takegawa Cam
Takegawa intake manifold
Takegawa air filter
Kitaco kick start
5-0 podium exhaust

Pitster X4 front plate
CRF50 OEM body.

To do...
Hand Guards
CNC Drilin some axel sliders/ foot peg sliders
Machine some adaptors for Brembo 2 pot calipers front and rear
Catch can
Wheels and tires and re-gear.

I've been racing 12" minimotards for the last 4 years, then I tried the 10" a few months ago and I fell in love instantly. they allow you to turn so fast, and take lines no other bike can, short wheelbase also play a big roll, mine is a Thumpstar with the A style swing arm. For tires try the maxxis 3.5 I love them!!! awesome grip, smooth and predictable slide and I sell them for $45 ea.
hope to ride along soon.

4 stroke 125's belong to our formula 2 class, yes slicks are legal.
